Discover the Power of Creativity
Sometimes, when life feels overwhelming, words can become a lifeline. For me, poetry has been a way to pause, reflect, and reset my mind. Creative outlets like writing, drawing, or even baking can offer us a moment of calm and clarity—a way to process emotions and reconnect with our inner selves. In this post, I want to share a poem I wrote during a moment of stillness and explore how tapping into creativity can help us recharge, find balance, and rediscover joy in the everyday.
At The End of Time
Can two sides
Of the same coin ever see
Each other
Save for at the end of Time?
I search for you
My brother
My twin
But I never see
You are always with me
Our mother bore us in darkness
And in darkness we remain
I call out to you
Hypnos
You keep the mortals
Safe from their
Weary lives
So they may bide their
Time
Before meeting me
Xanatos
And it is at these gates I shall see you again
At the end of Time
What do you think? I’m still workshopping it. Creativity isn’t just about making something beautiful—it’s about finding meaning, expressing emotions, and giving your mind the space it needs to breathe. Whether it’s through writing, painting, dancing, or any other form of self-expression, tapping into your creative side can be a powerful tool for healing and growth. I hope this poem inspires you to explore your own outlets and discover the reset your mind might be craving. Let’s embrace the joy and balance that creativity brings into our lives.
